Operation Repo is real! They are "Renactments" of "Real" events!!!!

To all the people that do not believe this show is real, you are wrong. All the action in this show, shows a disclaimer about it saying that the show that is portrayed is "renactments" on "REAL" events!!!!! Yes I do agree the show is scripted but comon how can they possibly come up with all that drama if it was all acted?

I also do agree that they are a REAL Repo Company, they are also trying to do a tv show for "Renactments" of a Repo business. This stuff is not hard to figure out. You guys that are confused out there got to understand they do this for a tv show, but the stuff that does occur is real, because they are really repossessing their vehicles or whatever the case may be.

Also you haters out there need to show more RESPECT for the show. You haters out there are so judgemental when you do not even know if the show (Operation Repo) is real or fake!!!!!!!!!

I like it alot.....and I don't think it's fake....could the repo go alot different sometimes....yea probably....but WTH....if you like the show....then watch it....if you don't then go get a cup of shut the hell up and change the channel and leave us alone that do like and stop trying to analyze every little detail...about the laws...certifications etc etc...blah blah freakin blah...

And "IF" it is fake...how many of you igits are watching WWF?!?!?! LOL...now talk to me about fake.....and how many of you ladies have faked "other things".. so bark up someone else's tree and leave Operation Repo alone...and stop hating....it's entertaining to me either way.

I love this show. I stop watching WWE for them ( mostly becasue Matt is my wrestler)
I see all the people say its fake but they warn you in the beginning this real event and they change the name of the real people.
The girls rule in this show and boys are the toughest ever.
I like this show much I drew them in my crappy drawings.

if anyone think this show is real they are as lame as their acting abilities, which in turn is why Matt cant get any other acting gigs other than this... find Nat. Geo show "Night Shift: Repo Men" they are the real deal, not these *****s.. stop fooling yourself and tru tv, put these guys on late night on fx's reality tv programming, have them go head to head with info-mercials, well maybe not infos will get better ratings..

Well, I can tell you how they can fake it. It's called a SCRIPT! Which means the writters make up this crap from something they've read or seen in a movie and make some wild, stupid story. They need better writters and check their laws before they give their crappy stories to even crappier actors. I don't know what the law's are for repos in California, but in the state that I'm in if the vehicle is in the garage they cannot legally repo the car, even if the garage is open. The property is private property and if it's in a garage it is then considered theft. The repo people have to return the car and are then charged with theft. The episode where they yank the car out of the persons garage is totally illegal and bull crap! Also, they are VERY violent and in most cases start the altercations even before the car owners do. The people in this show have a company called EGA Productions. Hmmm. Maybe it's just me, but why would any REAL repo people have a production company? Maybe because they are NOT real repo people. They suck and lie. Maybe they should say the truth in the beginning. This is reinactments of crap made up by crappy writters. BIG SHOCKER. They cannot tell me that real repo companies drive around with a "sling tow" on the back of their trucks. What a load of crap. If this is the case they need to get a real tow truck. This way they won't get sued as much when they ruin people's cars. Like the time Matt "accidentally" flipped a BMW. I mean. Come on. And then they were mad at the camera man, like he flipped the car or something. This is DEFINATELY a clue that it's all made up and full of bull. They need new actors, that can act. And get rid of that nightmare blob. Can we say "makeover"?! Her face looks like some kindergarten kid used their crayons to make up her face. NASTY! Just like the rest of the show. Oh. And for those whiners who say "Why do you watch the show then?". I'll give you this. Boyfriend has crappy taste in tv shows. I'm still training him.

When Matt tells people who he is ("Hello,my name is Matt Burch...") he also says the name of the recovery service.Which also happens to be the name of the production company at the end of the show.Its like saying "Hello my name is Matt Burch,I'm here with WWE Recovery,I have a repo order for this car".....and then find out the program is courtesy of Vince McMahon.
That and no legal licence plate on the back of the tow truck,no licences for repos by the staff,highly dramatized/violent/illegal repo scenes should all add up to the fact that what you see isnt real.Take it as entertainment.Thats how I view it.I guess one of the previous repo actors needs to be shown again as someone else in a new repo for everyone to finally realize that its entertainment,and not meant to be anything else.

Real events happen in real time and are not reenacted, that constitutes acting and thus the term "reenACTed. It may not be totally fake cause it is BASED real events but it is just not the same as real live footage with the actual footage. I would perhaps give them a pass if they put "These events are 100% factual based reenactments" but they can't cause reality is always distorted when placed in a second hand account of an event. 90% percent true is not real.

I understand about the reanactments and all but TRU TV is a reality station, theres not supposed to be any reanactments. I noticed tons of things on this show that were hust rediculous. The people out there that do repos everyday for a living are probably gonna start to take offence to this show. What is up with the chick with that black dress tonight lol????

Well I cant say for a fact that it is fake but seriously coming from someone who has owned a repossession company doing work in NYC for 10 years previously and strictly Long Island now.... I can say it sure isnt real

Yeah and what about that wrestling scene after the guy got pepper sprayed tonight! I can tell you as a person that has been pepper sprayed, or been near a pepper spraying (unfortunately) on more than one occasion. You don't want to be within in 5 ft of that crap, let alone cuddle with some guy on the sidewalk after he's been hit. Pure Crap!

I agree with those who say "Watch it if you like it, change the channel if you don't" but one thing is very apparent in this thread; most of you watch too much TV. The spelling and punctuation in most of the comments in this thread
is horrible. Some of these people should have paid more attention in school and left the TV turned off. eswan73 and onerepo can spell and punctuate correctly, so why can't everyone else? Now, this show is scripted reenactments. It can be interesting and even educational. It has taught me what will happen if I don't make my car payments.

i watched operation repo and i like it then my brother came over and was watching it with ask did i think it was real. never thought about it i replied then i started thinking about it. If this was real i would find somthing on you tube or somewhere on the internet right seeing how you can't walk down the street without someone seeing you. defintaly in california where all the camera chasers are. so show me some cell phone footage or camcorder seens of them passing by somwhere or in the bar having a drink and then i will think about it and maybe some of it might real cause you know if the crap they pull was happening in your neigbors yard you would be taping and puting it on the internet so tell me i'm wrong

They must of ran of of footage and now have to make up scenarios to keep the audiences attention, Big Lou throws a phantom punch that doesn't land and knocks a guy out cold who then jumps right back up like nothing ever happend... Lou then shakes off his left hand even though he threw the punch with his right lol,, then the Dungeon and Dragons in the woods?? How fake was that? Then if that wasn't enough the whole doctor scene holy smokes, this show is worse then the WWF!

OMG, you folks need to get some grammar lessons! I agree that the show is fake and that the actors need to go for lessons as well. Come on people, please, if you are going to post on a Web site, get some grammar lessons! It's so hard to get a point across to people if you don't know the difference between your and you're; to and too; hear and here; and such. I guess that's the state of public education. Sheesh!

I guess truthfully, I watched this show from when it first came on Tru-tv. I think in all actually it is eventually going to wind up in the circular file. I mean people see this and only come away saying that it is all staged. I think Matt is very intellegent,and the show makes him out to be Muscle man, taking orders from the head honcho. It started out good, and is slow but surely going down the drank, I couldn't even make it through the end of the show the other night, had to change the channel (BORING ! BORING !BORING !), I spend a lot of time watching Tru-tv, probably more then I should, and trufully this show does not interest me anymore.

I know from years of working as a News Photojournalist and Most of that time as a Investigative Photog...The show is just for fun. You can tell by how they shoot it.

Keep the show on...Just know its just like a Regular TV Show.
